The Mujer Behind the Magía
I am a first-generation Mexican-American artist and bruja by embracing both of these parts of myself equally, it allowed me to become rooted in my own spiritual work and connected to my ancestors. I became more at peace and fluid in my being as I started to communicate with that part of my soul.

I started by watching my mom who learned from my great-grandmother so I never lost the touch of working with traditional folk medicine, but I do understand that not everyone gets to have that privilege, which got me into teaching what I was taught. Thus I created this space of what you know as La Mujer Blanca Botanica.

I named my Botanica "La Mujer Blanca" because I am what you would label as "white-passing" Oftentimes times my physical self was discredited for not being "Mexican" enough. And so I created the Mujer Blanca as a physical representation of my roots and dreams.

MISSION STATEMENT
La Mujer Blanca Botánica believes in creating a community that allows individuals to internally grow and have the confidence and security that they haven’t been able to find through the use of spiritual tools that help one transition from feeling completely stuck to knowing you have the power to change your circumstances. All of the products offered at La Mujer Blanca Botanica are curated with the intention to help make significant shifts during pivotal times of our lives. The botanica is a safe place to attain a wealth of knowledge but simplified for those who aren’t too savvy with the uses of tools like candle work, salves, oils, tinctures, limpias, etc.

La Mujer Blanca Botánica was built on the belief that darkness can be a profound teacher within all of us. Our space is built on compassion, confidentiality, and integrity for all those seeking a safe space to confide in when they feel they have nowhere else to go. La Mujer Blanca Botanica was inspired by someone who has walked down many paths of repetitive cycles of trauma and found the strength to overcome hardships through their dark night of the soul. This is a place for those ready to work with the darker aspects of themselves.
